LAIR is teh English version, I have the Japanese version, whose title is rise from LAIR, but still the same as the English version, even the dialogue is English.
It's a good game, graphics and sounds are nice, didn't get good reviews because of the controls, which was a bit of a pain, but they worked it out, they updated it thru a patch, now the controls are nice. The game is now pretty fun to play.
My son loves it, and I'm beginning to like it also. =)
